Editorial standards

How we reach a verdict.

Our process separates documented facts, hands-on observations, estimates, and commercial relationships.

Our evaluation framework

We assess hosting services against six practical dimensions: ease of use, technical responsibility, total cost, scalability, backups and recovery, and support needs. A recommendation must identify the type of user and project it is intended for.

Evidence labels

  • Documented: supported by the provider’s current public documentation.
  • Observed: seen during a stated hands-on test, with the setup and date recorded.
  • Measured: produced by a repeatable test whose method and limitations are explained.
  • Editorial judgment: our interpretation of trade-offs, clearly distinguished from a provider claim.

Affiliate relationships

Hosting Verdict may eventually earn a commission when a reader purchases through a labelled affiliate link. That does not increase the reader’s price. Commercial relationships do not guarantee positive coverage, ranking, or inclusion.

Current status: this site does not currently use active affiliate links, advertising pixels, or affiliate tracking.

Corrections and updates

Material corrections are made as soon as they are verified. Review dates show when an article was last checked; they do not imply that every provider price or feature remains unchanged.
